Title: The Way Out
Text: Acts 12: 10 – When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth into the city; which opened to them of his own accord: they went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from him.
In this life, there are many situations that can make human beings somehow become sad and say , ‘ Can I get out of this? ‘ Will I be able to escape from this?’ What could be the way out? Are you having such a situation or askance within you?
I am glad to tell you good news today. Hallelujah.
The Bible passage as our reference mentioned that they came to the gate that had been hindering them from entering their place to fulfillment, that can shut them in for them not to be able to progress in life. But the Bible says, it opened for them on His own accord, that is, the gate opened without anybody touching it, It’s a supernatural doing of God. Remember, the Bible, this message is about the way out. You will discover what I am talking about , the Great Man of God called Peter. When the enemy of the things of God, King Herod put him in prison. He was there whose intention and desire were to quench the revival in the land of Israel.
At that moment, Greater is the God we are serving, He is a living God that will never leave His people for anything to reign over. Wherever you are, whatever your situation now, I am glad to tell you that God is working about the way out for you. He is going to make a way, He is going to open that gate, break the brass of iron. He let you go out into the fulfillment of what He has planned for you. Well, let me say more for you so that you can understand better what I’m trying to say. Almost everyone who experienced the great doings of God in the Bible, somehow like being in a cage or being inside the box, like being hindered in their journey.
There are different kinds of barricades or road blocks that seem like you cannot move forward . But there is a way out and how does that way out happen? I will tell you more about some samples of the man called Peter I mentioned. You can remember the Israelites on their journey to the Promised Land..On their first day of moving out from Egypt, when they were so excited and said, ‘ Wow, finally, we are out! Yehey! Let’s go, we are going to the Promised Land.’ And all of a sudden, they looked forward and said, How can we move forward ? ‘ Is this where we are going to perish? It’s better to be in Egypt than to be here and perish with our children. But remember, that God will make a way for them.
As a matter of fact, it is something that never happened to the human generation that people walked on the dry ground in the midst of the sea. I don’t know what maybe like the thing you are passing through now.
You may have experienced a wave of the sea that tossed you here and there. It seems, will I overcome this? Am I going to die in this? Is this going to be my end? I’m tired of this sickness, will I overcome this? I have good news for you This is going to be a way out for you because He is a faithful God. So the Israelites were so panicked and weary. Many of them were so upset and ran to Moses, ‘ Ohh why did you bring us here? Is this your plan to kill us in this place?’
Sometimes, when you are following the purpose of God. When you are following the will of God, it seems as if there is regret.. Understand that this God we are talking about is the God of purpose. You don’t have anything to regret, you just need to understand that He is working beyond your imagination He is doing something to make a way for you behind the scenes to get you out of that situation where you are in. They looked at the front. They discovered the Red Sea. They looked at the back, they discovered the army of Egypt ran after them.
They think, they will be finished along the way but God made a way for them. Look at the situations around you as if in front of you there is a problem, side by side there are some challenges you think and say, ‘ How can I overcome these trials? ‘ Yet , I want you to understand that there is a way for you. God has sent me to you good news that soon and very soon, you will see a way out and that problem will be no more there. You will celebrate over every challenge you are facing in the Precious Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
Think about the name Elisha, the Prophet of the Most High God.. When He was in the making, He was following the prophet Elijah. After the departure of Elijah, Do you know where they were going? To cross the Jordan River together through the power of God and great support in the life of Prophet Elijah. Then after that, He received the double portion of anointing already but the devil said, ‘Where are you going to use that anointing ? ‘ We will see ‘ the enemy said, ‘ When will use the anointing, now that you both are caged, you have been trapped and this is Jordan River. The place you can use your power is in the city. How can you get into the city where there’s the Jordan River here ‘.
But the Bible says, God made the Jordan River to be parted. God is still a God of miracles whichever level God wants to take you to and it seems no way as to you try here and there. There’s no way to talk to the people because they can’t help you. I want to tell you, that is not the end of you.. God is still going to make a way for you. Just think about all the people in the Bible who experienced the will of God. One of them is my favourite persons named Joseph, who was there in the prison. From being a slave prisoner. It seemed there was no solution. It’s as if no remedy and it’s a place he’s going to die. But if you read the Bible very well, one day, he slept in the prison, the following day, he found himself in the palace. Someone is reading this article right now, God is going to make a way for you.
I can see the heavenly contractor making a kind of construction of your life’s way. Sometimes, it takes time, you know, when you are constructing a whole building, or a big highway, it will really take a lot of time but remember, the quality of what they are building for you may seem as it delays, yet it will last longer. You may say, ‘ My friend has been seeing miracles for a long time but for me not yet even though I’ve been following Jesus, nothing happens. I don’t see any miracles manifest. It’s taking so long because of something quality, something important, something more precious than what you think God is bringing and making a way for you.
Let me tell you about five steps to the way out
1. See every challenge as an opportunity for God to make a way out.
They came to our Lord Jesus Christ and said, ‘ Jesus, Lazarus, the one you love is already almost about to die. Jesus smiled and said, ‘You people don’t know what’s going on, I can see what is going on in the spirit realm. That guy, my friend is not going to die, only the situation is that, it will be for the glory of God to manifest. ‘ Oh , two days later, He died. Come on, It was He who said, He won’t die, He said that Lazarus will be alright. How come? What’s going on? Can He lie ? ‘ The same thing in this life. Most of us, used to think that Can the Word of God lie? Is His Word of God not true? Does the prophet prophesied in vain? We have the level of understanding that God used to walk behind the scene in a way that you don’t see but He is doing something for you.. When you think as if this world has failed, He just started working, that is the time He is working on the way out. The Lord will bless you. Don’t forget, every situation you find yourself in sickness , financial challenge, problem in the family, or in a relationship. Understand that it’s a way for God to prove Himself and He will make a way for you.
2. God has made a way before.
You know, every miracle you desire, God has done for somebody. Every miracle, anything you need like healing, God has healed somebody before. You need deliverance, God delivered somebody before. He has made the poor to be rich. Yours is not too much nor big . It’s a kind of He’s a God of miracles. So, when you say to make a way, you need to understand that when He makes a way out to somebody, He is able to do it for you. Not only that in another way, you yourself might have experienced a certain challenge before and God made a way for you.
Probably, a few months ago a few weeks ago, a few days ago and a few years ago, you will remember that you received certain miracles , certain testimony happened.. Do you mean that God can’t do this again? He can do better than before. If He has done it before, He will do greater. Just believe Him. He has made a way for some people before, He will make a way for you.
3. Stretch forth your rod.
When you believe in God to make a way for you, don’t keep silent. Open your mouth wide in prayer. Prayer is your rod.. When they called Moses , Moses called upon God. ‘It’s okay, take your rod, stretch forth to the Red Sea’ and there was a way out. The same God is asking for you today. If you want a way out of the situation, you need to stretch your Rod of prayer. You have been praying and haven’t seen any move of God, keep praying as long as you can. Continue to stretch forth your Rod of prayer and Your Red Sea will part them for you., the roadblocks will be removed, hindrances will go and you will have a way out..It’s very very important to stretch forth your Rod.
4. Keep moving.
One thing about God , He is not a God of turning back. He is a God of forward . If you observe the Bible, when God thinks about every armour of a Christian, Ephesians 6:10 is to defend ourselves. It talks about the sword, the helmet, breastplate, loins, shoes and many things to protect yourself as a soldier.of God. But one place He never covers upon human beings is the back. Why? Because God doesn’t expect you to turn back. When you turn back, the arrow of the enemy can penetrate, so the way to be an overcomer is to keep moving, move on and go forward.
Imagine on that day, when the Israelites were moving and crossing to the Red Sea, they were running to Moses. ‘ Oh,. Moses, please talk to God now. ‘ Moses ran to God. ‘ What shall we do? This is not what You told me? ‘ What did God answer? ‘ Go, and tell them to move forward and to move on. ‘ Why? Because God is always ahead in the front. You cannot see it with your physical eyes.He is the King at your front. He is clearing your way , arranging something for you to see. The one you see that looks like a barrier, it’s no longer there. He has removed it already. It just seems as if it is there..
If your eyes of faith can tell you that God is working in front of you, keep moving. Don’t stop, don’t lose hope, don’t turn back and you will have a way out. Don’t worry, keep moving.
‘Oh, Moses, you made a wish to move on?’ ‘Yes, that’s what the Lord says, Move on. They put their legs into the sea, and they started moving.’ Oh , it’s now in our chest’ , ‘ keep moving’ . ‘ It has gotten to our neck side ‘ ‘ keep moving ‘. Before you will drown, He will make a way out. Hallelujah Jesus..
If you are moving with God, never look back. He will make a way for you. Move on! Move on! Move.on! Your success, your breakthrough and your miracles are going forth. Don’t say, ‘ Oh, I’m tired, He doesn’t make a way. I don’t want to come to church anymore, I will never listen to the Word of God anymore.’ You are just making yourself a victim of the Devil. If you want to be a winner, regardless of what you are going through, move on, Keep moving, that is your gateway.
5. Watch out for your human Angel.
Every one that will reach their land of fulfillment in life , there is a Destiny helper – a Human Angel.
What do I mean by this? When God gets you out , He wants to take you forward. He wants to fulfill your purpose in life. He will not jump down physically and say, ‘ This is me, God. I’m going to do it for you right now, No ! Sometimes, He may not be able to send a physical Angel for you. Because, you may be scared, you may not be able to move. If God will send an angel in the form of human beings and will come to you. Human Angel will give godly advice, who will give you help from harm, not somebody who will mislead you and pollute your life. An angel in the form of human beings who will continue to guide you on the way to the Lord. Someone who will be supporting you to move on with Christ. So, therefore, in that kind of aspect, your character is essential for most people, when their human Angel arrives, their character is at stake.
There are some of you reading this article right now, you might be thinking about your human Angel coming from Iloilo or from Batangas or wherever that is far from like America or Africa. Your angel might be just your neighbor who is together with you now . Or maybe your husband or wife. Your Pastor or fellow Christian friend. Somebody who is very close to you from a far place. Who might be a person working with you or you are working with like your boss. Whichever way, you may not know in the beginning, you may not feel that Somebody is your Angel of Destiny. But by and by, when the right time arrives, with your amazement at how great God used them to do.. But if you don’t maintain good character before them, you may offend them and you may destroy the purpose of the time. Watch out for your Human Angel. Never do any stupidity. Be sure that you will walk in the wisdom of God and the Lord will bless you in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen. I am glad to announce it to you, He is making a way for you.
1 Corinthians 10: 15 God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; He will make a way out of every temptation for you. Believe and Trust in His Word.
